Bridgelux, a global leader in lighting technology and a frontrunner in LED patented devices, recently announced the launch of its new DriveLux™ Bluetooth wireless control light engine series. The series includes two models: DX3-C (3CCT) and DX4-C (RGBW), which are the result of a deep collaboration between Bridgelux and wireless lighting control solutions company Casambi.
The new product innovatively integrates a flip-chip COB array constructed with multi-color chip-scale packaging (CSP), an on-board drive power supply, and Casambi's Bluetooth control technology, forming a compact integrated lighting module with a diameter of 50mm and a height of 10mm. It can simultaneously meet the needs of high-quality adjustable white light illumination and dynamic color changing applications.
Excellent performance, flexible adaptation to diverse scenarios
DriveLux™ DX3-C-L13 3CCT Model: This model achieves smooth white light adjustment along the blackbody radiation locus (BBL) from 1800K to 6500K, with color difference controlled within 2SDCM, ensuring color consistency and stability. At a power of approximately 23W (luminous area diameter of 13mm), the CRI90 can output high luminous flux of approximately 2400Lm and 2600Lm at color temperatures of 2700K and 4000K, respectively. Its precise light color adjustment performance makes it an ideal choice for hotels, retail stores, and high-end residences that pursue excellent lighting environments.
DriveLux™ DX4-C-L13 RGBW Model: This model further expands the functionality based on the DX3-C, not only supporting adjustable white light (color difference ≤3SDCM) along the BBL range from 1800K to 6500K, but also integrating RGB light mixing capabilities to achieve dynamic and colorful lighting scenes with a wide color gamut. This model utilizes advanced CSP technology, where red light is excited by blue-green LED chips to excite narrow-band KSF phosphors, providing users with two color rendering index options: CRI 90 and CRI 95. At a power of approximately 22W (luminous area diameter of 13mm), it can output a luminous flux of approximately 2050Lm (CRI 90) or approximately 1950Lm (CRI 95) at a color temperature of 2700K; and approximately 2350Lm (CRI 90) or approximately 2250Lm (CRI 95) at a color temperature of 4000K. This model is suitable for commercial buildings, cultural and artistic spaces, and entertainment venues that require accent lighting to create an immersive experience.
Dr. Li Yiqun, CEO of Bridgelux, stated, "The highly integrated light engine series, DriveLux™, developed in collaboration with Casambi, not only achieves wireless control but also significantly simplifies lighting design. The DriveLux™ DX3-C and DX4-C combine excellent performance, compact design, and the convenience of configuration through the Casambi app, providing designers and manufacturers with greater flexibility. This helps create smarter and more adaptable lighting solutions, while reducing development complexity and speeding up the time to market.".
